I have seen James at a couple of venues and he was great so I booked him for my daughter’s hen party in Derbyshire. From the time of booking he was friendly, organised , asked me for a list of what we’d like singing and also for songs to play in between the sets. He arrived promptly as planned, set up and then sang. He’s absolutely brilliant, got an amazing voice and we really got the party atmosphere , everyone was dancing . I would also recommend him if you want something more chilled too, he read the audience well. James made our night and I will recommend him to anyone who wants a great singer for any occasion

We hired James and Jamie for our special birthday celebration and they were absolutely amazing! Prior to the event, James was really responsive to messages and answered all of our questions. We were really pleased they put a call in with us beforehand to discuss our music preferences and to plan the evening! On the night they were brilliant! Music choices were spot on and the dance floor was busy all the time! James is a fantastic singer and Jamie got the DJ music just right! Would definitely recommend them for any future celebration! James was absolutely brilliant! We had him perform at our dinner party, and he was incredible. He tailored the playlist perfectly to the evening's vibe, and had everyone up and dancing. James sang at my Grandma’s 80th last weekend and was absolutely amazing! He sang a bunch of different genres of songs both old and new and was amazing at all different types. He made the night that much better and made the most memorable birthday for my grandma. Thank you James!!

​We had James play at our son’s 30th Birthday party & had a blast. We hosted the party outside and in true British fashion the evening was cold and wet, however James carried on blasting out his tunes in true professional style. Our guests ranged from 21 to 92 and all were kept entertained throughout the night. James enthusiasm fun and energy really contributed to a fantastic evening.

We would recommend James for any event. Life and soul of the party and great value for money.

James and Jamie were amazing at our wedding in June. They gave us a great atmosphere and tailored the evening to the music we love. The initial discussion was super relaxed and allowed us to chat through likes and dislikes, specific genres, must plays, etc. They even edited and personalised our first dance song to be a bit shorter! Having the additional extra of a live singer as well as a DJ was really good and makes them truly unique combo; they work so well together. The end of the evening saw the light up foam sticks which was so much fun and everyone loved. Overall a fabulous evening and would highly recommend.

So many of my guests commented on how good he was. James is a lovely guy, easy to chat to both before the event and at my party. We used James for our wedding. Ideal for our small family setting, but equally he would be just as perfect for a large venue. Solely down to his wide variety of genres he can sing from, cracking voice and vibes. Highly recommended

Arrived from Australia back to Nottingham for our 40th wedding anniversary and family reunion at Jenkins Bar, we hired James the singer and Jamie the DJ on a recommendation, they were both brilliant, James has a great voice and Jamie played some great music, everyone enjoyed the night and the music.

James & Jamie did my wedding as singer/DJ and the compliments I received for them both was amazing. Wouldn’t recommmend anybody else after this. Next time I need an event doing I will be giving them a call again 10/10 would recommend!

Can’t recommend James and Jamie enough. We’d seen James performing at a couple of parties so we were super excited to book him for my husband’s 50th.

James is a true entertainer and knows exactly how to get the party in full swing with Jamie DJing between sets.

They’re really accommodating which is great if you have a play list in mind, but equally can read the room perfectly if you’re just happy to leave them to it.

Professional, great value and a pleasure to deal with. I would book again without hesitation. If you’re looking for entertainment for your do, you can’t go wrong with these guys.

We have entertainment 52 weeks a year and he is probably one of the best and of course visually attractive. Always a fantastic night with him here at The Club or on one of our outside bars

Fantastic artist......we had such a great night at the Tipsey T.....only went in for one drink and ended up staying till 1pm. Brilliant.

Fantastic night at RAF Wittering Warrant Officers & Sergeants Mess on Tue. James you kept the whole place rocking all night long. Everybody enjoyed themselves so much, and many have said it was one of the best nights we have had in ages thanks to your fantastic performance. Many thanks, I certainly have no hesitation in recommending you to others, and we look forwards to booking you again in the future.

Fantastic Act the very talented James Parkes he played at the West End in Stapleford on 30th December 2017. Always a pleasure to have him back and is always very popular with all age groups from 17-80. Look forward to seeing him back again in 2018.
